We had a lot of fun when we took some friends from Jeh out for a sail and an afternoon of playing on Cherokee - jumping off, paddling around on kayaks or the SUP.
|
We started the day by baking banana bread - using Paul's mom's recipe. We used the bananas that the Horiuchi's on Buoj gave us. |
|
TC helped Jason and Malina put up the sail. |

Miriam steers the boat, under Paul's guidance. |

When we got back and anchored (which the kids were awaiting anxiously), everyone had fun in the water. |
|
Rosetina, after she almost wiped out getting on the board, later gained confidence and stood up and paddled around. |

It was fun to see some adults play in the water. Beautiful Jeh Island is behind them. |

Gabriel is a cutie. He later jumped off the boat after TC held his hand, jumped with him, and helped him swim to the ladder. (Everyone say it now, "Aww! So cute.") |
