Random Pictures from Jeh

An assortment of some of my favorite photos from Jeh.  Thanks to digital cameras, we have thousands of pictures (not sure if that is a good thing).

On our last trip to Jeh (2008), TC helped haul up some of the beams for this house.  It's a kit house from Bali.  They assemble it in Bali, mark it up for reassembly later, take it apart and ship it off.  It's made from a super hard wood.

Some friends from Jeh and me jumping for joy!

The two older kids, Nelson (left) and Beethleen (right) are so grown up (met them in 2008).  Nelson is really excited to graduate form 9th grade (last grade available on Ailinglaplap).

A pretty sunset with a silhouette of Tommy - he was out fishing almost every night.  This is after he spends his day teaching.

Paul gave a ride to some of the kids.  They loved going out on the kayaks!

Junior climbed right up this pandanus tree - I don't think I would've gotten very far.  Those leaves are SHARP.

Sullivan smiles as he gets ready to give TC a "solid."  This boy was adorable.  I really wanted to adopt him.

Sullivan and I with big smiles.  Too bad we're almost out of the picture.

Sullivan's not looking at the camera anymore, but he's 3.  His attention span is not very long.

Tommy's kids smile big!

Sullivan and TC paddle around the lagoon (right on the shore).  Sullivan had a ball!

It was crazy how the cloudy sunset all of the sudden got super bright, as the sun was reflected off this high cloud and through the hole in the lower rain clouds.

Dialine and Sullivan.  These two kids loved to mimic and repeat English words. We nicknamed Dialine, "beautiful big eyes."

Quincy loved Sullivan too.  He had a good laugh when he accidentally called Sullivan "Zane" (Quincy's 3 year old brother's name).

Koa moved to Jeh from Ebeye a year or so ago.

Sullivan, Q, and Ikaika

Quincy was quite popular with the kids.

Do you like my swimming outfit?  Ikaika and Kuba love posing.

John and Quincy with their new friends from Jeh.

Paul was also quite popular with the kids.
